Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Thomas Steadman #3677 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Start, Strong Finish Over 5K Thomas completed the 5K in 38:09, averaging 7:37/km across 5.00 km. He placed 3580th of 5624 overall, 1783rd male, and 481st in the mens 2630 division. His opening kilometre was his quickest at 6:36/km, and he closed well with a 7:16 final kilometre, his second-fastest of the race. The middle section settled at 8:00/km, 8:14/km, and 8:04/km before that late pickup. He also gained places through 2 km, moving to 3447th overall and 446th in his division before easing back later. That finishing response is a useful positive: if he can hold closer to his early pace through the middle kilometres, it could bring down his overall time at future evening 5Ks like this closed-road Canary Wharf run.
