Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Anastasiia Brodovska #5893 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Steady pacing with a strong closing kilometre Anastasiia covered 5.00 km in 38:48, averaging 7:45/km. She placed 486th in the female 2630 category and finished ahead of roughly 2,000 runners overall in a field of 5,624. Running for Third Space, she stayed consistent across the full distance at this Friday Night Lights showcase through Canary Wharf. Her pacing was controlled: 7:32, 7:59, 7:51, 7:48, then a fastest final kilometre of 7:40. After a quicker opening kilometre, she settled well and held a narrow range of just 27 seconds from fastest to slowest kilometre. That late pickup is a good sign of finishing strength. For the next 5K, aiming to bring kilometres 24 a little closer to the opening pace could trim time while keeping this solid finish.
