Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Julian Humble #2532 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Steady 5K with a Strong Final Kilometre Julian ran 5.00km in 28:14, averaging 5:38/km. He finished 2056th of 5624, placing him in the top 37% overall. Among men, he was 1251st, and 351st in the male 2630 division. Running with Digital Futures, he held a narrow pace range across the race, with only 25 seconds separating his fastest and slowest kilometres. His quickest kilometre came at 2km in 5:26, and he closed well with a 5:33 final kilometre after back-to-back 5:51 and 5:49 middle sections. That late response suggests good control over the full distance. As a next step, aiming to hold closer to his 2km pace through kilometres 3 and 4 could trim meaningful time. Run The Wharfs closed-road evening 5K suits that kind of steady, fast rhythm.
