Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Divya Limbu #3431 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Quick Opening Km Set Up a Solid 5K Divya ran 5.00 km in 31:11, averaging 6:14/km. Her fastest kilometre was the first in 5:45, then she settled into a steady middle section: 6:16, 6:27 and 6:21. The final kilometre was 6:24, just 3 seconds slower than km 4, showing good control late in the race. She was inside the top half overall, finishing 2702nd of 5624. The main stat to note is the early pace gap: km 1 was 39 seconds quicker than her average pace. A slightly more even start could help her hold position better over the closing 2 km. In a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf, this was a well-paced effort after the opening surge.
