Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Fabrizio Formisano #282 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Opening 5K with Strong Age-Group Result Fabrizio ran 5.00 km in 21:37, averaging 4:19/km. He finished 25th in the mens 4145 category, 337th among men, and 545th overall out of 5,624 participants. That age-group placing stands out in a very large field. The events evening closed-road format through Canary Wharf suited a quick start, and he opened with his fastest kilometre in 3:56. His pacing then settled at 4:13, 4:23, 4:35, and 4:31 per km. Through 2 km he was averaging 4:04/km, and through 3 km 4:10/km, showing a strong early rhythm. The main opportunity is to hold that pace more evenly across kilometres 3 to 5, which could bring the overall average closer to the early-race standard.
