Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Ella Turley #1011 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Start, Strong Finish, Brief Mid-Race Fade Ella ran 5.00 km in 23:59, averaging 4:47/km. She finished 1,044th of 5,624 overall, 220th female, and 76th in the female 2630 division. Her opening and closing kilometres were the quickest at 4:41, with the middle section easing to 4:58 in km 3 and 4:56 in km 4. That gave her a 17-second spread between fastest and slowest kilometres. She reached 2 km in 9:24 at 4:42/km, then settled slightly before finishing well over the final kilometre. That closing rebound is a useful sign of good control late in the race. For a sharper overall result, the main target is holding km 34 closer to early pace. Run The Wharfs closed-road Canary Wharf 5K suited a quick opener and she matched that with a strong final kilometre.
