Age-Group Win with Even 5K Execution Astrid ran 5.00 km in 20:56, averaging 4:11/km. She finished 1st in the Female 3640 division, 53rd female, and 441st of 5,624 overall. Racing with Canary Wharf Run Club, she delivered a strong result at an evening 5K known for its fast city-centre roads and social atmosphere. Her pacing was controlled across the full distance: 4:06, 4:14, 4:13, 4:19, and 4:06 per km. The quickest kilometres were the first and fifth, and she regained speed well after the fourth kilometre. She also moved up steadily through the field, improving from 500th overall at 1 km to 441st at the finish. A useful next step would be aiming to hold the 4:064:13/km rhythm a little deeper into the race.
