Steady 5K with a Strong Final Kilometre Diana completed the 5K in 27:00, averaging 5:24/km across the full distance. She placed 1,759th of 5,624 overall, with a solid late push in a large evening field. Her opening kilometre was her quickest at 5:14, and she closed well with a 5:19 final kilometre after covering the middle section in 5:23, 5:37 and 5:29. The pacing profile shows good control: the first 2km came in at 10:36 (5:18/km average), and the final 3km were completed in 16:24 (5:28/km average). Regaining speed in the last kilometre was a positive sign. For the next race, aiming to hold closer to early pace through kilometres 3 and 4 could trim more time.
