Quick Start, Then Pace Drift Over the Final 3km Raasib completed the 5K in 32:33, averaging 6:30/km. He covered the opening 2km strongly in 12:19 at 6:09/km average, with his fastest kilometre coming in km 2 at 6:04. At 3km he was still on 6:15/km overall, showing a solid early rhythm through the closed-road Canary Wharf course. From there, the pace eased to 6:52 for km 4 and 6:55 for km 5, bringing the overall average to 6:30/km. His best position came at 2km, when he had moved up to 2540th overall and 203rd in his age group, before settling to 2937th overall out of 5,624 finishers. The key coaching point is endurance across the second half: matching the first 2km more closely over the final 3km would produce a clear time drop next time.
