Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Samiha Rahman #5455 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong start and fastest closing kilometre Samiha covered 5.00 km in 27:30, averaging 5:30/km. She placed 544th of 5,624 women and 106th in the female 3135 division. Her opening kilometre was her quickest at 5:12, and she reached 2 km in 10:41 before settling into a steady middle section. In a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf, she maintained an even overall rhythm. Her kilometre splits were 5:12, 5:30, 5:45, 5:43, and 5:23. The standout stat is the final kilometre: after the slower third and fourth kilometres, she closed in 5:23, her second-fastest split of the race. That late lift shows good finishing strength. As a coachs note, bringing the third and fourth kilometres closer to her opening pace would lower the overall time quickly.
