Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Trang Nguyen #7890 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Division Win Built on a Fast Opening Kilometre Trang Nguyen covered 5.00 km in 19:44, averaging 3:56/km. She finished 1st in the Female 4145 division, 25th female, and 295th overall out of 5,624. That places her ahead of roughly 95% of the field. In a big evening 5K through Canary Wharf, that is a strong result. Her pacing was assertive early: 3:45, 3:56, 4:01, 4:08, then back to 3:56 for the final kilometre. She held the division lead throughout all 5 km. The opening kilometre gave her a strong position, and the closing rebound was a good sign after the slower middle section. From a coaching view, a slightly more even distribution across kilometres 2 to 4 could help convert that fast start into an even stronger overall time.
