Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Arman Malek #2656 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Quick Opening Kilometer, Then Settled Into a Steady Finish Arman covered 5.00 km in 36:59, averaging 7:23/km at Run The Wharf. His fastest segment came early with a 5:16 first kilometer, and he reached 2 km in 12:37. He finished 478th in the mens 2630 division, 1759th among men, and 3513th overall out of 5624. After the opening kilometer, his pace shifted to 7:21, 8:14, 8:08, and 8:03 per km, with the final two kilometers slightly more stable than the middle of the race. That steadier close is useful to build on. As a coachs note, aiming for a more even effort after a fast start could help him hold closer to his early rhythm across the full 5 km, especially on a quick evening course like Canary Wharf.
