She finished 573rd female and 189th in the female 2630 division, placing inside the top 35% overall of 5,624 runners. Her quickest section was the opening kilometre in 4:44, and she reached 2 km in 10:06 at 5:03/km. From there, her pace eased across the remaining kilometres: 5:47, 6:01 and 5:50. That opening kilometre was more than a minute quicker than her overall average pace, so the main coaching point is pacing control early on to support a stronger second half. A useful positive: after the slowest kilometre, she picked the pace back up over the final kilometre. In an evening 5K built for speed through Canary Wharf, that early speed and late response stand out.
