Fast Finish Lifted a Steady 5K Rebecca ran 5.00 km in 30:44, averaging 6:09/km. Her kilometre splits were 6:04, 6:11, 6:30, 6:15, and 5:45, with the final kilometre as her quickest by 45 seconds versus her slowest. She finished 184th in the Female 1825 division and beat more than half the field overall in a race with 5,624 participants. From a coaching view, this was a well-controlled effort with a strong closing kilometre after a steadier middle section. Positions improved from 195th in division at 1 km to 181st at 2 km, then settled before a small gain to 184th at the finish. The key opportunity is pacing through kilometres 3 and 4: holding closer to early-race rhythm there would likely bring the overall time down further on a fast evening 5K course through Canary Wharf.
