Steady 5K with a strong closing kilometre Marwa completed the 5K in 39:49, averaging 7:57/km across 5.00km. She finished 289th in the female 1825 category out of a field of 5,624 overall. Her opening kilometre was her quickest at 7:30, and she stayed close to her overall average for the rest of the race. After a slower middle section of 8:01, 8:22 and 8:06, she finished well with a 7:52 final kilometre, her second-fastest split. That late response is a useful positive, especially in an evening 5K built for fast running through Canary Wharf. The main coaching point is pacing: a slightly more even effort after the opening kilometre could help reduce the mid-race fade and support a quicker overall time next time.
