That works out to a sharp burst of speed, and passing 30 runners in the On Speed Zone stands out as the key stat from this effort. He placed 1,564th overall out of 5,624, putting him ahead of a large section of the field, with 997th among men and 193rd in the M3135 division. This was a short, high-intensity segment rather than a full race-distance performance, so the most useful takeaway is how quickly he was able to accelerate and move through traffic. In a fast evening event through Canary Wharf, that ability to gain places efficiently is a positive sign. For future efforts, holding that speed for a longer segment would be the next target.
