Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Akshaya Muralidhar #6476 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Quick Start Set Up a Solid 5K Akshaya covered 5.00 km in 33:24, averaging 6:40/km. She finished 1,250th of 5,624 women and 259th in the female 3135 division. Her opening kilometre was her quickest at 6:11, and she reached 2 km in 12:46 at 6:23/km overall pace. The middle of the race eased to 6:53 for the third kilometre and 7:06 for the fourth, before she closed with a stronger 6:41 final kilometre. That late pickup is a useful positive: after the slowest segment, she regained pace well over the last 1 km. For the next 5K, a slightly more even distribution after the fast first kilometre could help her hold closer to her early rhythm across the full distance.
