Quick Opening Km Set Up a Solid Top-12% Age-Group Finish Susanna covered 5.00 km in 31:32, averaging 6:18/km. She placed 63rd in the female 4145 division, which puts her in the top 12% of that age group, and 1044th among women. In a large field of 5,624, that is a solid result at a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf. Her strongest segment was the opening kilometre in 5:42, then the pace eased to 6:18, 6:34 and 6:40 before a good close at 6:20 for the final kilometre. That finish suggests she still had enough to lift the pace late. As a coachs note, the key improvement area is pacing: holding the middle kilometres closer to the opening effort would bring down the overall time.
