Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Colin Bugler #6393 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong finish lifted the overall 5K pace Colin ran 5.00 km in 28:41, averaging 5:44/km. He placed 2160th of 5624 overall, 1302nd among men, and 242nd in the M3135 division. In a large closed-road Canary Wharf field, that put him ahead of roughly 62% of runners overall. His pacing was steady overall and finished well: 1 km splits of 5:53, 5:30, 6:05, 5:55, and 5:19. The fastest kilometre came at the end, with a 46-second gain from km 4 to km 5 and a 34-second negative split from the opening kilometre to the closing one. As a coachs note, the finish speed stands out; aiming to bring km 3 closer to the pace of km 2 and km 4 could lower the final time further.
