Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Leo Bishop #6245 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Finish and Strong Top-10% Result Leo ran 5.00 km in 21:12, averaging 4:14/km. He placed 480th of 5,624 overall, which puts him well inside the top 10% of the field, and 55th in the male 1825 division. In a large evening 5K through Canary Wharf, that is a solid result backed by consistent pacing. His kilometre splits were 4:16, 4:21, 4:13, 4:21, and 4:03. The standout stat is the final kilometre: 4:03/km, his quickest of the race, showing strong closing speed. He also improved position from 619th at 1 km to 480th at the finish, gaining 139 places. As a coachs note, keeping kilometres 2 and 4 a little closer to his best rhythm could bring his overall time down further.
