Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Adi Ben-Ari #6424 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong negative split and fastest final kilometre Adi ran 5.00 km in 26:11, averaging 5:14/km at Run The Wharf in London. He finished 46th in the Male 5155 division and placed ahead of a large share of the 5,624-runner field. His opening kilometre was 5:32, and he steadily improved through 5:14, 5:11 and 5:15 before closing with his quickest kilometre of the race in 5:02. That progression is the standout stat: a 30-second improvement from first to fifth kilometre, showing good control and strong finishing speed. He also moved up notably through 3 km, improving his division position from 57th at 1 km to 44th at 3 km. For the next race, a slightly quicker start while keeping this same closing strength could bring the overall time down further on a fast evening 5K course.
