Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Charalampos Maraziaris #6544 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong finish with pace building through 5K He completed the 5K in 29:15, averaging 5:51/km for 5.00 km. In a field of 5,624, he finished 2,280th overall, 1,351st among men, and 374th in the mens 2630 division. His opening kilometre was 6:04, then he settled into a steady middle section at 5:52 and 5:58 before closing with his fastest running: 5:42 for both km 4 and km 5. That progression is the standout stat: he cut 22 seconds from first kilometre to fastest kilometre and improved his average pace each kilometre from 6:04/km to 5:51/km overall. A slightly quicker start while keeping the same strong finish could bring his total time down further. Run The Wharfs closed-road Canary Wharf route suited a controlled build well.
