Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Bliss Mason #6193 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong finish and top-10 female result with a podium age-group placing Bliss ran 5.00 km in 18:54, averaging 3:46/km. She placed 184th of 5,624 overall, 7th female, and 3rd in the female 2630 category. That placed her in roughly the top 3.3% overall, and she earned an age-group podium. At Run The Wharfs evening Canary Wharf 5K, that is a very sharp result. Her pacing was controlled across the full distance: 3:43, 3:51, 3:49, 3:51, then a fastest final kilometre in 3:41. She improved position during the race from 215th overall at 1 km to 184th at the finish, and from 10th to 7th among women. The standout stat is the close spread across all 5 km, capped by the quickest last kilometre. If anything, there may be scope to press a little earlier while keeping that strong close.
