Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Andrew Turner #6256 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Start, Solid 5K, Strong Top-12% Finish Andrew ran 5.00 km in 22:11 at an average pace of 4:26/km. In a field of 5,624, he finished 658th overall, placing him in roughly the top 12% of the race. He was 416th of the men and 134th in the male 2630 category. At a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf, that is a competitive result with good overall standing. His pacing opened well: 4:17 for the first kilometre, then 4:21 for the second. The middle section eased to 4:35 and 4:37, before he picked it back up to 4:24 in the final kilometre. That finishing response is a good sign. For an even quicker time, the clearest focus is holding closer to his early pace through kilometres 3 and 4.
