Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Carina Cozminschi #6310 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong finish lifted the overall 5K She completed the 5K in 30:46, averaging 6:09/km. Against 5,624 runners, she finished 2,620th overall, 962nd among women, and 304th in the female 2630 division. Running with Friday Night Lights suited the events quick evening format through Canary Wharf. Her pacing was steady through 4km: 6:01, 6:15, 6:21, and 6:22/km, then she closed fastest with a 5:48 final kilometre. That last kilometre was 34 seconds quicker than her slowest segment, a clear late-race strength. The main opportunity is to hold a little more of that closing pace through the middle kilometres; with that, her overall average could move closer to the low-6:00/km range.
