Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Ishika Dav #6571 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong finish with steadily quicker pacing Ishika covered 5.00 km in 29:15, averaging 5:51/km. She placed 158th in the female 1825 category and 755th among women, in a field of 5,624. Running as part of Revolut, she improved her pace after the opening kilometre and closed with her quickest full kilometre. Her splits show a clear progression: 6:12, 5:42, 5:59, 5:45, and 5:39 per km. The biggest gain came from kilometre 1 to 2, and she finished 33 seconds per km faster than she started. That finishing speed is a good sign. As a next step, aiming for a slightly more even first 3 km could help her bring the overall average down further on another fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf.
