Strong Finish Secured a Top-50 Division Result Manuela covered 5.00 km in 41:57, averaging 8:23/km. She placed 47th in the female 55+ division and finished ahead of roughly a third of the 5,624 runners overall. Her best kilometre was the final one in 8:07, faster than her opening 2 km at 8:10/km pace and well ahead of kilometres 3 and 4. The pacing pattern was steady early: 8:10, 8:11, then 8:38 and 8:53 before a strong rebound. That closing kilometre is the standout stat and shows good late-race response. As a coachs note, holding kilometre 3 and 4 a little closer to the early pace could have lowered the overall time further. In an evening 5K through Canary Wharf, finishing with the fastest split is a very useful sign.
