Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Will Greed #6218 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Start, Solid Close for a 23:02 5K Will ran 5.00 km in 23:02, averaging 4:36/km. He finished 827th of 5,624, placing 531st among men and 161st in the M26-30 division. His opening kilometre was the quickest at 4:08, and he stayed under 4:52/km for every full kilometre. He also closed well, improving from 4:51 in km 4 to 4:32 in km 5. The pacing profile was clear: very aggressive early speed, then a steadier middle before a strong final kilometre. That late rebound is a good sign of finishing strength. For the next 5K, aiming for a slightly more even effort after the opening kilometre could help him hold more pace through km 2-4. Run The Wharfs closed-road evening format suited a quick run, and he made good use of it.
