Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Nitin Rustagi #6375 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong opening kilometre, solid closing response Nitin completed the 5K in 42:09, averaging 8:25/km. He placed 3,776th of 5,624 overall, 1,837th of male finishers, and 493rd in the M26-30 division. His fastest kilometre was the first in 6:01/km, and he finished with a stronger final kilometre of 8:14/km after the middle section sat between 9:05/km and 9:31/km. From 1km to 2km he gained places, moving from 3,517th to 3,230th overall, before settling back later in the race. The closing kilometre was 1:17 quicker than kilometre 4, which is a useful sign of late-race response. As a coachs note: aiming for a steadier pace after the quick opening kilometre could help maintain momentum across the middle kilometres at this fast evening Canary Wharf 5K.
