Fast Start, Strong Age-Group Result Ricky covered 5.00 km in 15:06, averaging 3:01/km. In a field of 5,624, he finished 15th overall and 2nd in the Male Elite 3135 division, a strong placing in a large evening 5K. He also held 14th among Male Elite runners at the finish. The first 2 km were especially sharp at 2:58 and 2:55, reaching 2 km in 5:53. He stayed under 3:03/km through 3 km (8:55), then had his slowest kilometre at 3:12 before closing in 3:00. That rebound over the final kilometre was a good sign. From a coaching view, the standout stat is the ability to recover pace late; trimming the drop from 3 km to 4 km could make this even stronger on another fast closed-road course like Canary Wharf.
