Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Samuel Hern #5094 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Start, Strong Overall 5K Result Samuel covered 5.00 km in 15:24, averaging 3:04/km. He finished 23rd overall out of 5,624, with 21st in the Male Elite field and 9th in Male Elite 2630. That places him near the very front of a large field, a notable result in a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf. His opening 2 km were especially sharp and consistent at 3:03/km for both kilometres, reaching 2 km in 6:06. Through 3 km he was still on 3:04/km average pace with 9:12 elapsed. The main area to tighten is the stretch from 3 km to 4 km, which was slower at 5:34 for that kilometre before he recovered strongly to the finish. The early pace shows excellent speed; smoothing that middle section would support an even stronger overall time.
