Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Tom Evans #6217 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Finish and Strong Top-8% Result Tom Evans covered 5.00 km in 20:47, averaging 4:09/km. He finished 428th of 5,624 overall, placing him in roughly the top 8% of the field. Among men, he was 252nd, and he placed 44th in the male 1825 division. In a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf, that is a solid result. His pacing was steady across the full distance: 4:06, 4:11, 4:16, 4:15, then 4:01 for the final kilometre. That closing kilometre was his quickest and helped him gain 7 overall places from 4 km to the finish, plus 9 places among men and 6 in his division. As a coachs note, the finish speed stands out; with slightly tighter pacing through the middle kilometres, he could turn that strong kick into an even faster overall time.
