Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Mohammad Ali #6640 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Strong Finish After a Steady Middle Section Mohammad completed this 5K in 38:34, averaging 7:42/km. He covered the first kilometre in 7:01, then ran kilometres 24 in 8:11, 7:56, and 8:09 before closing well with a 7:19 final kilometre, his second-fastest of the race. That late lift stands out and shows he had good finishing strength on a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf. He placed 125th of 4650 men, 1,789th of men, and 3,604th of 5,624 overall. His position improved after 1km, moving from 127th to as high as 121st in his age group by 2km, before settling at 125th. From a coaching view, the key gain would be holding closer to his opening pace through the middle 3km; with the finish he produced, there is clear potential for a more even 5K.
