Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Paul Baker #6642 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Fast Finish and Steady 5K Execution Paul ran 5.00 km in 24:00, averaging 4:48/km. He finished 1,050th of 5,624, placing him in roughly the top 19% overall. In the male 3640 division, he was 88th, and 687th among men. Representing Buzzacott LLP, he delivered a solid result at an event known for its fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf. His pacing was consistent across the race: 4:42, 4:48, 4:59, 4:52, then a quickest closing kilometre of 4:41. That strong final km is the standout stat and shows he had good speed left late on. As a coachs note, the main opportunity is in the middle section, where km 3 was the slowest; smoothing that stretch closer to his opening and closing pace could bring the overall time down further.
