Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Andrei Budeanu #5433 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf 5K

Steady 5K with a strong closing kilometre Andrei ran 5.00 km in 28:34, averaging 5:42/km at Run The Wharfs evening closed-road 5K through Canary Wharf. He finished 2,139th of 5,624, with his best race position coming at 2 km, where he had moved up to 1,879th overall after opening splits of 5:35 and 5:39/km. His pacing stayed controlled across the full distance: 5:35, 5:39, 6:00, 5:44, and 5:37/km. The standout stat was the final kilometre, his second fastest of the race, which showed a strong response after the slower third kilometre. As a coachs note, holding the 2 km rhythm a little longer through the middle section could bring his overall time down further.
