Strong Finish and Negative Split Over 5K Amy ran 5.00 km in 25:30, averaging 5:06/km. She finished 1,397th out of 5,624, placing in the top 25% overall. Among women, she was 349th, and 125th in the female 2630 category. Running with Team Thursday, she moved up steadily through the field across the race. Her opening kilometre was 5:21, then she settled well with middle kilometres of 4:58, 5:17 and 5:08 before closing fastest in 4:48. That final kilometre was 33 seconds quicker than the first, a clear sign of strong pacing and good late-race strength. In a fast evening 5K through Canary Wharf, the standout stat was her finish: controlled early, then increasingly effective as the race progressed.
