Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Thomas Sheat #4345 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick pace in a short speed-zone effort Thomas covered 0.30 km in 1:19, averaging 4:28/km. He passed 34 runners in the On Speed Zone and finished 679th overall out of 5,624. Within the male field he was 424th, and 129th in the M2630 category. This was a very short, sharp effort, so the standout stats are the strong average pace and the number of runners he moved past over just 0.30 km. In a fast evening setting through Canary Wharf, that suggests good acceleration and race awareness. A useful next step would be to focus on sustaining that speed over a longer segment while keeping the same efficiency.
