Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Ruxandra Ionescu #5960 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick, Efficient Effort at 4:24/km Ruxandra covered 0.30 km in 2:36, averaging 4:24/km. That is a sharp pace for a very short effort, with an elapsed speed that converted well from the original mile-based data. Among 5,624 participants, she placed 1,791st female and 227th in the female 3640 division. At Run The Wharf, an evening closed-road event through Canary Wharf, this result points to strong short-distance speed. The main stat to build on is extending that pace over a longer distance, since the recorded effort was only 0.30 km. Holding even part of 4:24/km across 1 km or more would be a useful next benchmark.
