Quick work over a short, sharp effort Lauren covered 0.30 km in 1:52, averaging 6:20/km. In a field of 5,624, she placed 2,802 overall, 1,066 among women, and 225 in the female 3135 category. That compact effort points to good early speed and the ability to settle quickly into pace. This was part of Run The Wharfs evening city-centre format through Canary Wharf, built around a fast, social atmosphere. From a coaching view, the key stat is the 6:20/km pace across a very short distance; extending that pace across a longer continuous segment would be a useful next step in training.
