Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Seokmin Kang #6800 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Lightning-Quick Closing Speed He covered 0.30 km in 1:27, averaging 4:55/km. He passed 9 runners in the On Speed Zone and finished 1,150th of 5,624 overall, placing him in the top 21% of the field. Among men, he was 759th, and he placed 147th in the mens 3135 division. This was a short, high-speed effort, and the pace stands out most: sub-5:00/km over the segment. In an event known for fast evening racing through Canary Wharf, that passing count suggests he held momentum well. A useful next step would be to focus on sustaining that speed over a longer segment while keeping the same efficiency.
