Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Sarah-Jayne Dominic #4299 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick opening pace and a strong age-group result Sarah-Jayne covered 0.30 km in 1:49, averaging 6:08/km. She placed 41st in the female 4650 category, 960th among women, and 2634th overall out of 5624 participants. That category placing stands out, especially in a large field. This was part of the Canary Wharf evening 5K series, known for its fast closed-road setting and after-work atmosphere. Over this short effort, the key positive was efficient speed from the start. For future efforts, building on that sharp opening pace over a longer measured segment could help translate this speed into a fuller race performance.
