Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Allan Wilson #3962 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast finish with standout speed-zone result Allan covered 0.30 km in 1:57, averaging 6:38/km. He also passed 21 runners in the On Speed Zone, a notable stat over a short effort. Within a field of 5,624, he placed 109th in the mens 4650 category, which stands out more than the overall placing here. For a brief effort like this, the key positive is clear: he moved well enough to make up places quickly. In an event built around a fast evening 5K atmosphere through Canary Wharf, that ability to accelerate is useful. A sensible next focus would be extending that pace over a longer distance while keeping the same sharp turnover.
