Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Raiyan Haq #461 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Explosive speed over a short effort Raiyan covered 0.30 km in 1:24, averaging 4:45 min/km. He passed 65 runners in the On Speed Zone, a strong return for such a short segment. Among 5,624 participants, he placed 127th in the male 1825 category and 633rd among men. This was a brief, high-speed effort within Run The Wharfs evening Canary Wharf setup, where fast closed roads reward quick acceleration. The standout stat is the pace: holding 4:45 min/km over 300m shows good top-end speed. The next step as a coach would be to keep building the ability to reach that pace quickly and sustain it smoothly across slightly longer segments.
