Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Faye Brookes #2278 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast evening effort with strong overall standing Faye covered 0.30 km in 1:46, averaging 6:00 min/km. She finished 2505th of 5624 overall, placing her in the top half of the field. In the female standings, she was 876th, and 191st in the female 3135 division. This was part of an evening closed-road run through Canary Wharf, a setting known for quick 5K racing and a social finish. For such a short effort, her pace was sharp and controlled. A useful next step would be to build on that speed over a longer sustained distance in future events, aiming to hold a similar rhythm across a full kilometre and beyond.
