Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Danya Marx #1334 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Explosive 300m Speed with Strong Field Position Danya covered 0.30 km in 1:25, averaging 4:47 min/km. In the On Speed Zone segment, she passed 41 runners, a notable gain over a very short effort and a good sign of sharp acceleration and commitment through the section. In a field of 5,624, she placed 213rd female and 72nd in the female 2630 category. That puts her around the top 4% of women overall in this event. This Friday Night Lights race is built around a fast evening atmosphere in Canary Wharf, and her numbers fit that style well. From a coaching perspective, the standout stat is the combination of 4:47 min/km pace and 41 passes; continuing to work on speed over short race segments could help turn that closing power into even more positions gained.
