Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Jamie Wong #5353 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Quick pace, strong percentile finish Jamie covered 0.30 km in 1:11, averaging 4:00/km. He placed 342nd of 5,624 overall, which puts him in roughly the top 6% of the field. Within the mens field, he was 186th, and he placed 56th in the Male 2630 division. This was a very short effort, so the most useful takeaway is the speed: 4:00/km is sharp and well controlled over 0.30 km. In a fast evening event through Canary Wharf, that kind of opening speed stands out. For future efforts, the next step is to hold as much of that pace as possible over a longer distance.
