Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Theo Pickles #1415 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Fast opening effort with strong age-group standing Theo covered 0.30 km in 1:37, averaging 5:30/km. He placed 209th in the Male 1825 category, 1168th among men, and 1886th overall out of 5624 participants. That puts him around the top third overall and in a similar range within his age group. This was part of the Canary Wharf evening event, known for its closed-road city-centre 5K setting and after-work atmosphere. For this effort, the standout stat is the speed over a short distance: 5:30/km. If he targets this event format again, the next useful step would be turning that pace into a longer sustained effort over more kilometres.
