Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Sebastian Ricketts #2842 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Sharp pace in a short speed-zone effort Sebastian covered 0.30 km in 1:38, averaging 5:33/km. He passed 23 runners in the On Speed Zone segment, a useful stat that points to good acceleration over a brief effort. Among 5,624 participants, he placed 1,952 overall, 1,206 among men, and 233 in the mens 3135 division. This was a very short segment, so the most meaningful numbers are the pace and positions gained. Holding 5:33/km while moving past 23 runners suggests he was able to build speed well in the evening closed-road setting through Canary Wharf. For future efforts, the clearest target is to keep that speed for a longer distance and continue converting strong surges into more places gained.
