Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Yen Lim #6694 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Short effort, sharp speed Yen covered 0.30 km in 1:35, averaging 5:22/km. She passed 12 runners during the effort, a useful sign of good forward momentum over a very short distance. Against 5,624 participants, she placed 474th among women and 92nd in the female 3135 division. This was a brief segment rather than a full race distance, so the most useful takeaway is pace execution: 5:22/km over 0.30 km. In a fast evening event through Canary Wharf, that gives a clear benchmark for short-speed work. A practical next step would be to hold a similar pace over a longer measured stretch to build on this speed.
