Date: Sept. 3, 2026 Participant: Sam Han #6717 Race: 2026 Run The Wharf On Speed Zone

Explosive speed over a very short segment Sam covered 0.30 km in 1:17, which works out to 4:22 min/km. He passed 19 runners during the segment, a strong gain over a short distance. Among 5,624 participants, he placed 604th overall, 375th among men, and 46th in the mens 3640 division. This was an efficient, high-speed effort: holding 4:22 min/km over 300 metres points to sharp acceleration and good turnover. In an event known for its fast evening atmosphere through Canary Wharf, that ability to move up quickly stood out. To build on this, the next step would be extending that pace across a longer section while keeping the same control.
